چکیده

Objective: To analyze the feasibility of simultaneous bilateral thoracoscopic lung resection in treatment multiple primary cancers early stage. Methods: The study time range is between March 2019 and 2021. A sample 30 patients with cancer admitted to this hospital were included, they divided into a group, control samples within group using random number table scheme n=15, underwent staged pneumonectomy, pneumonectomy at same time. indicators two groups compared analyzed. Results: There was no significant difference operation intraoperative blood loss (P>0.05). differences VAS score, total length stay, surgical costs on first day after surgery (P<0.05); there groups' postoperative recovery incidence complications Conclusion: It safe feasible treat both lungs surgery, suitable for promotion.

Single stage minimally invasive bilateral video assisted thoracoscopic surgery for simultaneous bilateral primary spontaneous pneumothorax.

Simultaneous bilateral spontaneous pneumothorax (SBSP) is a very rare life-threatening condition that requires rapid diagnosis and treatment. Most cases are secondary to various underlying lung pathology but a primary SBSP may occur due to rupture of subpleural blebs or bullae. Surgery via an open or minimally invasive approach provides definitive treatment and can be undertaken as a staged or ...

Thoracoscopic Assisted Pneumonectomy

A lung carcinoma with tumor involving more than one lobe or in close proximity to the mainstem bronchus often requires pneumonectomy for surgical cure. Inflammation, bulky tumors, and dense adhesions limit the operative field of vision and may result in the abandonment of procedures with potential for complete extirpation. This case illustrates the utility of thoracoscopy in visualization of th...

Thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer.

Thoracoscopic surgery has raised awareness in minimizing invasiveness in respiratory surgery. In the case of lung cancer, technical difficulties associated with standard curative surgery may not allow the use of a total thoracoscopic procedure. Although thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery is minimally invasive and safe, it demands a high level of skill and care. Surgery is often performed using a...

Uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic pneumonectomy.

Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) was introduced nearly 2 decades ago and has experienced an exponential increase for lung cancer treatment. A pneumonectomy can be performed by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery and the lung usually fits through the incision as usually used for VATS lobectomy. The most common approach for pneumonectomy is undertaken with 3 or 4 incisions, including ...

Lobectomy for metachronous lung cancer after pneumonectomy.

Second primary non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a well-known disease in patients having undergone successful NSCLC resection. Surgery for patients with cancer in the residual lung after pneumonectomy should not be excluded automatically. However, surgery on a single residual lung is usually done by wedge resection or segmentectomy, whereas lobectomy remains somewhat exceptional. We report ...
